Pamela Anderson, was born July 1, 1967 in Ladysmith, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. She is a Canadian-American fashion model, designer and actress, who got her big break in the television series Baywatch.

She has Finnish ancestry on her father's side and Pamela's grandfather, Juho Hyytiäinen, left Finland in 1908 to settle in Western Canada where the timber industry at the time flourished. He changed the name Hyytiäinen to Anderson for obvious reasons.

Pamela Anderson was discovered in 1989 when she was at a football match when a television camera showed her wearing a T-shirt with a pressure of beer brand Labatt's. She was hired by Labatt's to promote their products. Shortly thereafter, she turned out in Playboy magazine.

Besides being famous as a model and actress Pamela Anderson has created a lot of attention for its expansive privacy.
